BareMinerals Goes Bare

The brand begins its GoBare tour on April 25th.

BareMinerals, a Bare Escentuals brand, is kicking off a nationwide tour, Go Bare, by setting up a pop-up boutique and lounge that will travel to six cities from now through October 2013.

Skin experts will be on hand to help introduce more women to the flawless coverage of bareMinerals Ready Foundation (shown) – and provide free makeovers, consultations and application tips.

The GoBare tour kicks off in Washington, D.C. on April 25th, as the official beauty sponsor of the Nike Women Half Marathon DC, a race to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The brand also has a digital campaign using the hashtag #GoBare on Twitter, asking women to reveal their “secret indulgences” – some of which will be chosen for a video series that will launch on the brand’s YouTube channel. A camera crew will surprise the brand’s Twitter followers that are chosen to be featured in the video.

BareMinerals also plans to stock a vending machine with the “secret indulgences” tweeted to @bareMinerals using the campaign’s hashtag. It will be set up at the pop-up boutiques.
